THE STORY BEHIND OUR NAME
Our company’s name, HartNamtemah, is partly derived from the name of our co-founder, Marc-Andre Hart. Namtemah means lion in the Bafoussam language, which is spoken in Cameroon, the home country of co-founder Rodrigue Fouafou.
HartNamtemah supports founders with business mentoring and strategic management consulting. We also help startups in Africa and other emerging markets secure funding by making their companies more attractive to venture capitalists and connecting them with the right investors. In addition, HartNamtemah invests in promising projects and startups. HartNamtemah is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, but we have representatives around the world in the following locations:
